Mother and baby shouldn't fall ill in Ireland

I wish I could tell you I had a wonderful St. Paddy's day, but this is far the case. We went to Dublin to try to register my baby at the Brazilian Embassy on Thursday and had no luck. I'll tell you about it in another post. Instead everyone got a cold.

So we ran out of adult paracetamol this afternoon and I asked himself to get more before he went to do the groceries. He decided to get our daughter more infant paracetamol (Calpol) as well just in case. However, he was told he could not get both at a supermarket in Galway.

It seems if you are set to take your own life you are going to change your mind if you have to go to a different shop to get what you want. Apparently mother and baby shouldn't fall ill at the same in Ireland. I'd say this is very unlike to happen, yeah. Not.

Thankfully himself could find a pharmacy open, but if it was late at night one of us would have to suffer until the morning. Obviously me or my hubby had he been the one sick. So there you go, I finally came across a silly bureaucratic law in Ireland. Nanny state gone mad.

Finally, I advise you to always have a little stock of paracetamol in case it is needed. I needed to get it off my chest. I hate it when the just pay for the sinners or in this case, the suicidal.
